How to book a test:

Step 1: Book an appointment at a Goodbody Clinic of your choice

Step 2: Visit your chosen clinic where our trained healthcare professional will collect your blood sample using the kit we provide

Step 3: *Receive your result the SAME DAY the sample arrives at the lab if received before 10am. If received after 10am, results available within 2 working days.

Important:

You must ensure you are at least 6 weeks pregnant at the time of taking the test, ideally waiting until 8-10 weeks. If you take the test too early, there will not be enough DNA in your blood sample from the baby to analyse and ascertain the gender. If you are not sure, we recommend using a gestation calculator such as this NHS calculator or waiting a few more weeks for your appointment. Goodbody will issue you a test kit which must be brought to the appointment.
