More Information

Our General Health home blood test provides you with a general health check up, covering the key areas of health that affect everyone. This includes tests for liver and kidney function, bone health, blood iron levels and a full cholesterol profile. Ideal for giving you a better understanding of your general health, it can also identify health problems such as:

  • High cholesterol – a leading cause of heart disease, heart attack and stroke
  • Liver failure or cirrhosis
  • Kidney damage or disease, often caused by high blood pressure or diabetes
  • Gout, a very painful form of arthritis that causes build up of uric acid crystal in your joints
  • Anaemia, or low blood iron levels
