Goodbody Clinic was born in the years after the pandemic, when people across the UK were realising they could take more control of their own health. Laboratory science was moving faster than ever, and I wanted to put that progress within everyone's reach: a wide range of tests at prices people can afford, alongside the newest tests that give a far more detailed picture than was possible even a few years ago.
Many home-testing services rely on finger-prick samples, which limits what can be measured. So we built our business around a network of 250+ partner clinics where a trained professional takes a blood sample from a vein. That lets us offer fuller panels, with the clinical rigour behind them that patients deserve. The NHS is there for you when you're unwell. Our aim is to help you stay ahead of your health: to understand your body, spot changes early and make confident decisions about your wellbeing.

Our Lead Medical Advisor, Dr Lebeth Jacob, is a GP registered with the General Medical Council. She and our other clinical advisors, including a consultant oncologist and a clinical scientist, oversee our testing services and review the health information we publish.
