Our Enhanced Cholesterol Blood Test checks 11 advanced biomarkers to give you a complete picture of your heart health. Alongside the full standard cholesterol panel, it measures apolipoproteins, Lipoprotein(a) and PLAC Activity — markers that reveal hidden risks a basic test cannot detect. It is sometimes known as an Advanced Lipid Panel.

High Density Lipoprotein (HDL cholesterol) is the 'good' cholesterol you need for your health, whilst Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL cholesterol) is the bad cholesterol that can build up in your blood vessels and lead to heart disease, stroke, dementia and Alzheimer's disease.
